I. Definition
Calendula is a genus of about 12-20 species of perennial herbaceous plant in the daisy family Asteraceae. It is native to the area from Macaronesia east through the Mediterranean and has been used in traditional medicine as astringent and antiseptic .

II. How calenduda effects women with endometriosis
Please note : this flower is sometimes called marigold overseas, and shouldn't be confused with the tagetes species which we know as marigold and should not be eaten.

1. Digestive system
